Went to the library today, which was air conditioned and I could hide in the stacks of books so double plus. On another note got lots of books including an autobiography of a Video Vixen (I'm looking at you Taylor). I picked up lots of biographies or auto biographies and ended up getting the Paris Hilton one. While waiting for the kidlets to pick out books I sat down and ended up reading that one first. 1. I was 1/2 way done 20 mins into it. Lots of pictures. 2. At this point I hid it.
One of the most engaging biographies I've ever read (note: it's not like I've read a ton of them but still.) is Jenna's. While Paris was teaching me to be an Heiress all I could think was that a 5 year old could have written this.
When a porn star compiles a biography that is 10x more interesting than your own, maybe rethink writing one when you have nothing TO write about.
That's the last time I'm seduced by a book solely based on it's cover. |

Also I'm on the third episode and you're so annoying I want to rip my hair out. And one of the chicks on here looks EXACTLY like Ali Larter. So much so that I keep expecting her and the people around her to bust out some insane superhero shiza. |

I woke up today with the boosh-ki (Bailey, what my mam calls her) next to me, so I think today is going to be a good day. Going to hang around the house then go to Pratika's house for dinner of authentic Indian food (hah) and then to go see the midnight showing of Sex and the City 2, woop. I am going to wear my new fantastical white and silver brocade shorts. Now I am watching 10 Things I Hate About You and eating sour patch kids.

in Chicago now and I am realizing that this is the best idea I've had like ever. I am not joking when I talk about how much work I have been doing this semester and even sitting in Amanda's room lounging after I've slept in until 1pm has given me some perspective. The studio that I am taking now is not the hugest thing in the world and I should really take some time to enjoy it instead of just getting work done. It is really bumming me out that I am sick for this trip (I thought I got over it on Thursday) but I am steadily taking medicine and will enjoy myself as much as I can. Also American Apparel has put a new label inside of their leggings..."NOT PANTS" suck on that pantless America. |
